My Music Projects

I've been writing music and working on recordings with various partners over the years and have produced 100s of songs.  I started in the early 90s with a Tascam cassette 4 track recorder and by the late 90s had evolved that to a digital 24 track recorder.  I soon switched in the early 2000s to using computer based DAWs.  I currently use a mix of Cubase, Logic, and Ableton depending on who I'm working with and their preferred setup.  My home studio capabilities have grown over the years to where I have some very formidable home gear that rivals some of the better pro studios.  I've certainly learned a ton working on all the projects I've done over the years and still continue to learn.  Its about the funnest hobby I can imagine! Below is just a broad sampling of recordings I've done and musicians I've had the privilege to collaborate with over the years.

New Album Coming Soon!!

For many years now I've been trying to pull together a collection of my own songs that I've writted and performed over the years.  Its truly been a labor of love and will be the first album I've ever produced of just my own material.

What you will hear in the links I've shared are just pre-mix and master demos to get a feel for where I'm headed with the sound.  I've been very fortunate to work with the amazing Shane Barber to help me with some of the productions as well as Ryan Turk at Warehouse Studios in Jacksonville.

I hope to finally have this ready by the end of 2025 and will then be having this printed to vinyl.  Its been a long dream of mine to have my own songs printed to vinyl. There is something special about having a vinyl record, but even more special when its your own release.

I hope to have vinyl copies for sale here once I've finished with this project.

John Muka Band

I'm very proud to be able to share that John Muka and I have finally released our long labor of love this year with a full album called Things I Can't Change.

This album is so full of amazing performances from some great talents in Jacksonville featuring TR Zielinski on Violin, Shane Barber on Keys and Drums, and many others.

John and I had worked on many songs simply starting with his acoustic guitar and then building on top of that.  It took 100s of hours for me to produce and arrange these songs to find the right fit for all the instrumentation and to build cohesive song structures that all fit together.

Most of the players on this album were recorded independent of each other, but it was amazing how it all came together in the end and I'm very proud of the results.

Mixing and mastering this album was very outside of my comfort zone and so I definitely leveraged the talents of friends like Shane Barber to help me to find the balance and glue to make all of this work together.  I've learned so much from Shane over the years and am eternally grateful for all his support and friendship.

The best news of all is that we are building the band again and are currently rehearsing for live performances which we are hoping will kick off later in 2025!

Please feel free to follow our progress on Instagram and please listen to the new album and let me know what you think!!
